Hello Hayley
It is great to see you here doing research before getting your little one. Have you found a good breeder or rescue yet to obtain your hamster from? If not which county are you in and we may be able to point you in the right direction.
Look forward to reading your diary I am sure you will love having a hamster and any questions ever just ask we are here to help you and your furball. Names will come to you when you get your hamster home and its little personality starts to show.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I live in Cheshire, but I was planning on getting my hammy from Pets at Home. Probably at the weekend, in the evening when they start to wake up.

Hey hayley
Is that moston in manchester?
If so there is a rescue near you Its called rodent rescue and its run by a lovely lady called Cynthia
her number is 0161 724 6048 give her a call I'm sure she can find a lovely syrian for you. Same goes for anyone looking for a hamster in that area. Cynthia and co do a great job of taming up their animals for rehoming
They are in Radcliffe near Bury. Let me know how you get on.
