New here
Hello I'm new here, But not to hammies. I have one little girl right now. Will be getting another soon. Not sure how old she is, but she's a black syrian. Her name is Mischief, becuase before we got out of the pet store lot (another story), she had a hole the size of a quarter chewed in the little cardboard box they gave us (like THAT was gonna hold her in! lol).
We also have 7 ratties (3 male, 4 female, SEPERATE cages) 3 dogs and 3 cats (all in a 2bedroom apt. lol. Can't wait till we can afford to buy a house!).
Anyways......here is a pic of our little Mischief (which can also be seen in the syrian hamster forum in the thread "post your cages")
.
Bye for now

Welcome Sapphire_Ratties and Mischief
Oh boy did you know what you were letting yourself in for She looks so hapy in her huge enclosure. Does she use her potty or is she naughty with that aspect too You will need to tell how you came to get her, we love talking hamsters here, and welcome to your other furry friends too. Keep the pictures of coming of all your gang, and I hope you enjoy being the newest member of HC.

Well me and my partner had been debating about going into a pet shop, as it was late and they were probably going to close. We went in anyways. Probably pick up a few treats for the dogs or rats or something......
I seen a cute little black hamster, no price tag.....I was curious and asked why (maybe she was sick, or they hadn't put one on yet) they said a lady had come in litterly hours beforehand and said she was allergic and couldn't keep her. We were like "oh that is so sad", the employee (we are kinda regulars and know we come in there often) said well, we don't sell animals that our company doesn't buy. So we brought her home, in a 10g tank, then in a 90qt sterilite bin, and now this cage (the cages keep seeming to small, lol).........
that is how we got her. We will also be getting another hamster sometime in the next couple of weeks, as a friend had an accidental litter (one of those, "it's 2 girls" type things).....
I would post pics of all my animals, but as I said, it would be many, as I have 3 dogs, 3 cats, the 7 rats (actually can be seen in the post "Rats" in the misc. forum) and Mischief.

Fate
I believe in fate where hamsters are concerned you were meant to go in the store that night - Mischief had chosen you She knew a potential human to spoil her when she smelt you outside the shop and pulled you in... and now she is using her magic to get you to buy her bigger a bigger enclosures and a few other things too I bet
