Default Hi! New hamster biting advise!

Hello everyone!

My name is Hannah, I'm 24, and I've just bought a beautiful 6 week old Syrian.

I've had her about a week and a half, and she was not socialised at all- biting (not aggressively) constantly, and very skittish. She is now pretty much used to my hand movements and general noise of the family so doesn't seem nervous.

I would love some advise as to how to get her to stop biting me constantly, and allow me to touch her.
I know she's very young, so I kind of assumed that she will calm down and allow me to handle her when she is more used to me and older.

Although I wash my hands with unscented soap/just water, before handling, and she doesn't seem overly nervous, she is still biting me constantly.

Any advise how I can stop this?
Or is it a case of patients?!

Thanks!!!
