Hello from My little Darcy

Hey, some of you may know I have taken in a little female Russian. She has lost a paw but its all healed and she is well and can get round well enough. After finding names for my 2 boys a few weeks ago someone said Darcy... Well I have named her Darcy after Darcy Bussell the ballerina. I got her earlier than expected. She is very cute so thought I would introduce her, so here are some piccys

She is being a monkey! She keeps climbing over her house and getting stuck as she cant pull herself up again! think I will need to move it for her, although means I get more cuddles helping her back out

Darcy is very cute

I'm so pleased she has found her forever home with you.

I guess you may have to make some slight adjustments to her environment like with the house so she doesn't get stuck or something. It looks like she's doing really well anyway though so I'm sure with just a few tweaks, you can get everything set up perfectly for her. What a lovely girl she is

she has done very well overnight

I have moved all her things so there is a run way all the way around them so that she wont get stuck. I have removed the shelf that came in her cage - she got her leg stuck in it which is how she lost her paw (Downside to a mini duna I guess) I had to scrub her cage for nearly 2 hours so that it was clean enough for her to live in. She seams so happy now! she loves her new wheel she spent hours on it during the night, I was up till almost 4 just watching her to make sure she was ok. I tried making her an open nest so that she didnt have a house to get stuck in, but she didnt like it so I put a new one in as her one she came in was only fit for the bin.
She is my little angel! I opened the lid of her cage this morning to pop in some more food while she was asleep in her house, she came up to me and climbed on my hand

Love my little Darcy! Ive been searching this morning for toys that she would like and easy for her to use, but im struggling a bit only thing she doesnt need to climb that I can find are tubes, anyone have any more ideas? I will try get some more photos of her later!

Got some more little pics for you to admire, Im amazed at how well she is doing! I think tonight I can sleep without her right next to me and put her cage back where it should be, Think my Fiancee would like to be able to sleep in the bed tonight
