Meet our new arrival Snuggles

I have been looking for a Syrian for about 4 weeks for my girls ...But today finally found one

, Took them to a local pet shop and they had some gorgeous babies , After much debating ...We came home with Snuggles !

At the moment she is living in a plastic toy box -It is quite big , I ordered a Savic Hamster Heaven a few weeks ago from Zooplus . I left it boxed up so it wouldn't start collecting dust , opened it tonight ready to put Snuggles in and one of the corners is broken

.Phoned them and they were quite good about it -they are sending a courier on Wednesday to collect it ,and then another cage should be here by Friday .. Poor Snuggles not being able to use her new cage .

Thats a shame about the cage, but zooplus do have a good record of sorting out any problems which have occurred.

Snuggles looks so cute :3 and so fluffy XD

Aww he's cute

Am just thinking it might be worth asking Zooplus if the courier can bring the new cage at the same time as collecting the broken one - at least then you'll know it's ok and they've got to come your way anyway ...

What a gorgeous baby hamster

I'm sure she is quite happy in her box as it does look nice and roomy. It will be great for taming access too so make the most of her being in there and get her handleable till her new 'mansion' arrives. Looking forward to more pics

, I did ask if they could just swap them at the door as obviously it would work out cheaper for them anyway .. But the lady said it needs to go the through the order process again and then it will be delivered via the same service I paid for - which was parcel force ..
Cant wait for it to arrive

She has been handled loads tonight when I first put my hand in her carrying cage after bringing her home she started squealing

but after around 10 minutes she calmed down .. hoping that it was just down to change in environments .

My first day with Pepper the second I put my had inside her carrying cage to move her out to her proper home she started squealing quite loudly, but she was very tame from the start and I am sure it was nothing more than nerves at being in a new place with a new hand being placed inside her space. I am pretty sure that it Snuggles was just momentarily confused as to where she was.
