Hi there fellow hamster lovers!

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Elizabeth and I love hamsters! I have owned three different hamsters. I had a female named Princess Isabella (lame I know) but I called her Izzyboo. Izzyboo was a Syrian hamster and she died several years ago. About 2 years ago I adopted two sweet Russian Campbell hamster brothers; Ralphie and George. Sadly, George passed away about 2 weeks ago. He had cancer for quite a while so I'm glad he's not in pain anymore. So now I just have my one hamster Ralphie. He is quite happy. I'm trying my best to spoil him now that he's a little old man.

I am a big fan of bin cages. I don't mess with those plastic tube cages. Hamsters can be great escape artists and those cages aren't sturdy at all..plus they're way too overpriced. I found this site through tons of hamster related internet searches. I have read through countless forums here and figured it was time to finally join the hamster central community!

I love new friends and I love people who love hamsters!

Isabella isn't a lame name, actually it's quite fitting! (izzyboo sounds adorable, lol). I'm sorry to hear about your loss with her and George; I'm more than certain that they were quite happy having you as their caretaker!

Well aren't you all super sweet. I certainly miss Izzyboo and George a whole bunch. They were very happy hamsters. I'm glad you all like the name Princess Isabella. It really fit her. She's the white/orange Syrian in my picture. She was quite a sassy little princess who loved to spend her free time escaping from her cage or watching Cinderella with me. She would no joke move her food bowl as close to the tv as possible (while in her cage) and munch on snacks while she sat like a little human and watched the movie. I wish I had pictures of her doing that. It was the only movie she'd do that for. My little babies are certainly spoiled! They love life and I swear I saw Ralphie smile the other day

Welcome aboard to you all !! I'll have to put your hammie on my hamnapping list to watch movies with us (we have 3 girls. The youngest is 3 1/2 and the 2 oldest are 9 1/2!!) The family would LOOOOOOVE that !! ;D I love her name also! She seems to have someone that cares a lot about her... Good on you !
