Hello!
Hi, I am a very new hamster grandma. lol My 8 y/o just got Rhino for his birthday. He is very cute and seems very content. However, the cage we bought has a hole in the top. We put a heavy book on top and that seems to work fine. However, is this strange opening for a tube? Or can it be used for one?

Re: Hello!
Hi!! He is in with my son and a little too late to post a picture of the hole. But, it is on top of the cage and kinda looks like a door could have been suppose to be there. Although, there are already 2 doors. It was a PetCo brand cage. When we called back they said that model was discontinued. Figures. lol Any advise on solutions would be appreciated. We have had him almost a week and I'm still cautious about holding him. I don't want to scare him. I want him to get use to us.
