Hey Maireid welcome from me to. Glasvegas eh - that made me laugh :-).

Glad you found your way to HC there are lots of different hamster humans here with many different breeds of hamster so hopefully you will get the info you need to make a decision about what type of hamster to get.

Are you looking to get your hamster soon or is it someway off for the time being?

Im glad it made you smile! There seems to be quite a few people "repping it up" for glasgow on here!

Sadly, for the time being, it looks like it might be a while off. It's taking all my self restraint not to go buy one now! But i am going to be away for 3 weeks in the summer and will also be travelling up to aberdeen for the rest of it, so (annoyingly) i think it will be best of i just wait a while. Which means i can get as much info and advice as possible before then!
I feel almost like im cheating by being on here and not actually owning a hamster as yet...or for a while for that matter! Im just being a bit keen and excited really, so please bear with me(!)

Ohh see what you mean by having to wait a while, still like you say you will be able to get stacks of information before you get started and hopefully be able to get all the things your new hamster will need well in advance :-).

Keen and excited means you fit in just fine - cos we're all loopy :-)
