Default Hello

Having already gained a lot of advice, its only polite to say hello properly.

I'm Donna (obviously) and have just taken on a rescue Syrian, its been many years since I was last a hamster owner... oooh at least 11-12 and joined here to refresh my brain cells. I also have a 13 yr old Bull Terrier, 4 cats, one rabbit of my own, but I also foster homeless rabbits for a local rescue and usually have between 4 and 6 staying with me.

I'm much older than I'd like to be and I have 2 little girls who are rapidly learning to love animals as much as me.

Hi and welcome DonnaB, its nice to say hello to another member, who like most of us, has our hands full with children and animals, but still reaches out to care for another animal

and a huge round of applause for fostering the rescue rabbits. Well done you

Aww thanks for that.

I'm kinda relieved to discover there are some adults on here, I must admit I was a bit worried, not that I have a problem with younger people.... but I DO have a problem with being old! lol

*Takes one hand off zimmer frame and waves* LOL

Helloooo from another far from spring chicken.

Us, erherm, more 'mature' types seem to be getting more common these days, I must admit I do feel a bit out of place on some forums in the thick of all the talk of music and teenage fashion

Nice to meet you
