Aww congrats babyboo
thats super super news
hope it all went to plan and you now have a human bundle of joy
great!!!
Ive put the hamster search on hold just now till I finish my 3rd year at uni, but sometime in May or June Im hoping to start again. Thanks for the help Molly, Im still chosing between ww's and campbells.
Could I just ask; I used to have 2 dwarfs, I think they were Campbells, altho the shop didnt specify and I was too young to recognise the difference, but the cage I had for those two, would it be ok to use if I were to get 2 Robo's? The cage has a plastic base and wire frame, its similar to the Feberplast ones, long and squat with a 2nd floor. the wires are prob around a cm apart from each other, altho its not to hand so I cant be more specific. Would this cage be suitable as a home for Robos as I hear they are fond of escaping.
I also have a much larger plastic cage with wire at the top, similar to the Gabber cages as posted by pophammy in the 'Lets see your Hamster Cages!' topic. Would this cage be more suitable?
Also, which hamster type would you all reccomend? The Robo's seem to be most appealing just now, but as I know relatively little about the 3 types, Robo's, Campbells and WW, so am still deciding which to get. I think the real choice could be between Robos and Campbells, but could someone tell me the points I should consider when making my choices and the advantages for each type?
Thanks for all the help guys, as you can tell, Im really quite new when it comes to understanding and appreciating hamsters, but I am keen to learn.
And congratulations again Babyboo
hope it was an easy delivery
all the best to yourself and the babybabyboo
