Default Hey all.. I'm new here..

Hello everyone..

My name is Nikkie and my hammy is Miss. Tufft.....She is still a baby... I got her on Feb 3rd this year.. so she is around 16 weeks old now.. Thats my guess at least..hehe.. .. I will be sure to post some pics of her once I get my camera back... But I can share some of my prairie dog.. Amy..

I can show you a picture of WHAT my hammy looks like.. But it's not her..Just looks a lot like her..lol

She is just getting her tuffs now so she is getting cuter by the day..

Also can you all PLEASE sign this.. PLEASE???? It is my petition to stop Animal Snuff films... I hate how people get off watching animals die... Please and thank you...

Welcome to Hamster Central Nikkie and Miss Tufft (and Amy!). Hope you like it here, look forward to reading your posts.

So Miss T is a long-haired banded cream? That's what my first ever hamster was when I was little I do think the cream bandeds are very pretty hams. (I know I say a lot of hamsters are pretty, and they are, but cream banded is one of *those* colours you know :P)

I'd be interested if you could post a little bit about Amy perhaps in the "Other Pets" thread in the misc section. Prairie dogs aren't kept as pets over here (well not commonly anyway) but I did used to work with a colony in a zoo that were kept in a big paddock with tapir and capybara, they had hugely complex burrows and a social system, I'd be interested to see how they adapt as single pets.

Hello Nikkie,

welcome to hamster central, Im glad you decided to introduce yourself

Have you ever had hamsters before?

I would also like to hear more about your Prairie dog and would like to talk about this petition a bit more, so perhaps you can post about this under the "misc" topic.
