Default Can hybrids change colour?

This is my little girls second winter.
I'm sure she is a hybrid.
I got her from pets at home as a russian dwarf.

This year she looks a little paler around the edges.
Almost white under-tones.

The picture of her from behind, was about 3 months ago.
The other one with her kinda standing, was last week.

Thoughts?

Yes hybrids can also get winter coats, especially if they’ve got winter white colouring. It’s lovely when they do change, none of my hamsters ever have really!

Some do change with the seasons as a Winter White would but some also just change colour in various ways permanently, full of surprises you never quite know what you're going to get!

Some hybrids will lighten during winter due to their Winter White genes. Most don’t go totally white but just develop lighter patches or tips but some will turn totally white. Some hybrids won’t fully return to their original colour either.

The silvering gene will also cause hamsters to turn white but it only appears in black, dilute black, dove, lilac, and blue hamsters.

Thanks, I was unsure if hybrids could change colour.
It's not much but of a colour change but I can definitely see with this winter.
I wonder what exactly triggers it this year.
It's a bit colder in my new flat and I've been on nights for a month so less daylight I suppose.

It’s triggered by the changes in daylight during winter
