Re: Please Meet Theodore
Here are a few of pics of early Theordoreville ... I'm made lots of changes since these but you get the idea. He loves playing in here every night. Its 3 feet long by almost 2 feet wide. Lots of play room for the little guy.

Re: Please Meet Theodore
That looks incredible, the nicest looking playpen I’ve seen for sure! The tall house is really cute, I’m wondering what it looks like inside now.

Re: Please Meet Theodore
So Theodore's life changed yesterday - he got his first bag of Whimzee's in the mail! He was very excited and started chewing right away. I hid one in his play box and when I checked it out later it was gone. Probably hidden safely away in the back reaches of his castle. He wants to say thanks to everyone who told us about them! And so it goes.

Awww Theodore is such a lovely colour and I'm glad he's enjoying his whimzees To be honest if I had a cool looking castle to sit in, I'd probably run off with my dinner too

Re: Please Meet Theodore
Theodore's coat is gorgeous! Aww at him and his whimzee toothbrush, he's such a clever boy taking care of his teeth.

Re: Please Meet Theodore
So ... through no fault of his own, Theodore fell out of Theodoreville sometime in the wee hours of Saturday morning. Short version, after feeding him a pumpkin seed Hamster Dad left a couple more on top of his castle for next time. Theodore had never shown any inclination or ability to climb the castle so it seemed safe. Wrong!! A couple of seeds sitting on top of the castle were more than enough incentive for him to have the will and to find the way! Once up there and after eating the seeds .... he must have looked over the edge and fallen out.
And so it was that while Hamster Dad dozed on the couch, Theodore had free reign of all of the downstairs! I figure he ran free for about 3 to 4 hours. When I woke I looked into his play box but not seeing him didn't cause any panic as he likes to sleep in his castle or hide box or bury himself under his wheel. As I wasn't going to work that day, I decided just to leave him alone. So you can imagine my surprise when ten minutes later while standing in the kitchen making coffee a white ball of fur comes scurrying around the corner and stops at my feet. "Theodore" I exclaim ... "why are you in the kitchen and not in your box!"
My next reaction was concern ... and I quickly picked him up and gave him a good examination. All looked fine and he was all happy and squirmy and very, very pleased with himself. I then noticed his cheeks were bulging to capacity .. "Oh Theodore" I said ... "Hamster Dad is terrified to know what you have in those cheeks!" I then took him over to Theodoreville and put him in so I could watch how he was. Showing no ill effects, he wandered over to his waterbottle and had a good long drink. After which he popped into his castle where he slept the rest of the day away dreaming no doubt about his grand adventure! And so it goes ..
PS: Theodoreville now has a screened in top and the castle is no longer against the wall. Live and learn Hamster Dad .. live and learn.
