Re: Meet Neve
Aspen is fine! I love the sound of her little clouds of paper Yes it will all be easier when she has her new cage. Maybe when you do the cleans in the little cage you could leave her nest and hoard (or put them back) and sprinkle a bit of the old substrate back on top of the new so it smells familiar. And just clean the wheel a different time. Or don't clean the wheel- then she may start using it lol!

Re: Meet Neve
I actually almost never clean the wheels, I don't find that they get dirty at all because my hams never pee in them or anything, I only do it once every several months, as long as they use it
Just like the house and other stuff, except the food bowl that I wash from the food dust every time it's empty
When I do I just give a good wash with warm water to remove dust, without soap or anything unless there's a pee stain(on the cage base) then I might use a little drop of dish soap
