The bites could be exploratory in which case he'll probably just grow out of it, if they bite hard enough to draw blood I usually just lift them off & away from my hand & leave them for a little while before interacting again & they seem to learn quickly enough that biting doesn't get them treats!
Sometimes they can be a bit territorial over the cage & won't bite if you handle them out of the cage so that might be worth trying too.

Hopefully he will like the platform and wheel. Willow had a little bit of biting when I first got her, some were quite hard, but she has stopped now.

Popcorn will likely stop as well.

Thanks for the encouragment guys. He has just been out in his sand bath again. I will try to brave putting my hand in again. I do have a play box for him so he can go in there next time he comes out and I will see how he responds to my hand then.

Where about in the hand does he nip? Harvey had a fixation with my knuckles, he would have a good sniff and then look at me and then put his his mouth over a knuckle, no nipping though. Afterwards he'd have another sniff. It made me giggle each time.
He'll grow out of it.

Yes, it is the knuckles thin lizzy. He is so bold and comes out quite a bit during the early evening. It is great having him in the duna multy. I love that cage.

How are you putting your hand into the cage ff? When you say he's going for your knuckles I wonder are you making a fist? If you just lay your hand flat, palm up he may have a little nibble at your finger tips although you can try burying the tips of your fingers in the substrate if you're worried about that but he will probably just walk onto your hand, put a seed on your palm or something to encourage him, don't try moving your hand until he's done that a few times then move on to gently lifting your hand slightly then lowering it again building up until you can lift him up properly.

Ah I see Cypher. I was making a fist for him to sniff. Will try the flat hand approach with a seed.

He was not impressed with coriander. Must get some more millet.

I did use the fist at first with Harvey and then did it flat, he still had a good sniff at my flatter knuckles. If you feel confident, Popcorn will too.

None of my dwarf hams have ever been partial to herbs like coriander really, try a sunflower seed, they usually love those & I've never had one able to resist a mealworm!

Aww sounds like it is coming along nicely with Popcorn, hemp seeds is another option that they can't resist
