Re: Meet Willow
Aww dine in private, she sounds like such an elegant lady
I think they like to keep us on our toes by having as many entrances as possible and then changing them all. I sometimes wonder if all the entrances my boys make actually go anywhere or if some are just fake to throw us of the scent lol

Re: Meet Willow
I think you most certainly could be right, BP; these little furballs can be quite tricky and sneaky, lol!

Re: Meet Willow
Lol CMB at not being the ham dad!
It's so refreshing to have members who are dads to their beloved hams.

Re: Meet Willow
Willow was out early last night (10.30pm, but was not wanting to have cuddles or come out of her tank (busy doing her own thing). She was playing etc for an hour, before going back to bed. I waited until 12.30 before going to bed to, in case she came back out.
4.45am I woke up and she was on her wheel. I got her some cauliflower and cabbage. She came straight over and started eating. I got the photos below.
I started getting the playpen ready (it's partly set up permanently), but she went to her nest. So she didn't come out. I didn't get to hold her. She loves her tank too much I think.

Re: Meet Willow
I was pleased with the last photo, as she let me take the photo with my main light on. She usually hides if the light it on.
She likes cucumber best, but is enthusiastic about cauliflower, cabbage and green been. She had her first (very small) blueberry and seemed to like that. Blueberry is going to be a very rare treat, to minimise the sugar intake.
Or should I not give her any more.? I have been told a small amount of fruit is ok, once in a while.

Re: Meet Willow
Too much too often can be problematic, but I don't see the harm in a sliver every once in a while. Besides that, some fruits are more sugary than others, so the lower sugar options would probably work best for a diabetes prone ham like Willow

Re: Meet Willow
Lovely to see Willow getting stuck into her Cauliflower, Harvey loves it also.
She might not have wanted to play but she happily came over straight away when you put the cauliflower & cabbage in and then let you take pics. She knows you give her tasty treats. Her loving her rank is a good thing, this will boost by her confidence.
