Willow looks like she settling in well in those videos and also appears to be really enjoying her wheel. It's good that she feel comfortable climbing into your hands sounds like you are already starting to form a lovely bond together.

If you are wanting your photo to show in the post instead of appearing in the "attached images" at the bottom of the post. Once you attached your images, and return to the screen where you type your reply their is a paper clip icon, and you click on the drop down arrow. It will show a list of your attachments and then select the picture you want to be inserted into your post.

Ooh I missed this thread! Congratulations on your new hammy Willow! She looks adorable and looks to have lots of fun things - especially that big digging box.

You need to resize the photos before you upload them CMB.

I did manage to see them by opening in a new tab & she does look very sweet, nice to see her running around on you too.

CMB, congrats on getting your lovely Willow. She is absolutely gorgeous with such loving coloring. I am so glad that she is so tame already and loves to play with you. You must have such a lovely bond which I know must mean the world to you. I look forward to seeing more pics and reading about all of Willow's lovely adventures. Eros sends a furry high-four to her friend Willow!

Thank you dreamtree1234. She does have a special place in my heart. I'm surprised how friendly she is already. I was quite prepared for her to hide away and have to go slow with the taming etc like most of my previous hamsters.

I had a call from Pets At Home lunch time today to check up on how she is doing. Which I hadn't expected.

I checked with one of the vet surgeries in my hometown if they treat hamsters, as I found the other one isn't good with small pets or birds and am pleased/reassured to find out they do. Hopefully I won't need to use their services though.

Furry high five back to Eros. It took her a couple of attempts as she stood up really tall and fell over.

Willow looks to be getting braver by the day CMB It's always good to find a vet before you need one I think It's one less thing to stress about in the event your hammy does get sick.

You can also use photobucket if you want to show the actual pics rather than the links though it's a bit of a pain at times.

I got some treats for her. Are they all ok to give her? Pistachios, walnuts, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, cashew nuts, pine nuts without shell?

She will have to share with the parrots any of the larger nuts.

She is so spoilt already. Lol
