Bambi is a lovely colour. Oliver (my Russian dwarf) is not very active. I am hoping as the weather warms up his activity will increase.

It's reassuring to know that Bambi's not the only one who has been less active lately ☺ Oliver is such an adorable name! It reminds me of a movie that I always used to watch when I was growing up called "Oliver and Company" I remember watching it almost everyday as a kid, It must have drove my mother crazy! 😂

We think that Bambi is around 1 year and 5 months(ish) now he's starting to use his wheel less and when he comes out for playtime lately he seems more interested in cuddles more than exploring.

These are some pictures that I took a few days before I cleaned his cage, they look a bot red for some reason 😒 I need to get a phone with a better camera! 😆

Hi guys, how ya doing? It's my birthday next month! The 9th June I'm really excited, this will be my second birthday I get to spend with Bambi!
Since it's heated up the last few days Bambi has been spending most of his time sleeping in his cup that I put in his cage... Who knew a hamster would enjoy a cup so much!

He's started using his flying saucer more and more lately, yesterday morning when I went in to check on him I found him passed out asleep on his wheel.

I got him a new climbing toy a few days ago and he absolutely loves it! He spends so much time on it I was really surprised since he usually completely ignores his toys, instead he usually just plays in his sand bath. I took a few pictures of him just before so I thought I'd post them here. I was about to spot clean his cage and he was awake so I let him run around my room for a bit. (Don't worry my room is hamster proof!) Also, I took the pictures before I cleaned his cage so Ignore how messy it is!

I scatter fed him for the first time tonight and so far he seems to really enjoy it. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep feeding him like this or if I'm going to put his bowl back in. I might scatter half of it and put half in his bowl, but I'm not sure yet, I guess I'll let Bambi decide what he likes best!

Aww thank you so much! I'm so sad that I haven't been able to spend as much time with Bambi lately since we have a lot going on at the moment, I kinda hoped buying him so new toys would make up for it, but he's still being a tab bit moody with me at the moment.

Recently we've had two new stray cats coming into our back garden almost everyday. We have a trampoline out there and they've been coming to sun bathe on it, I think they're adorable however, It's safe to say that my cats WERE NOT very amused by the new "Friends" in the back.

Bambi has woken up a lot earlier today since about half six. He seems to really enjoy being scatter fed so far, whenever I go in to see him he's always digging around for food.

Bambi is SO adorable. I'm so glad that he is enjoying being scatter fed. Does he still love eating his pasta as much as he used to when you first got him, and does he still fall asleep on your head? Those images of lovable Bambi doing those things are so vivid in my mind. He really is a cutie. I love the movie Bambi so much, too. There is something about your Bambi's expression that reminds me of the Disney Bambi, and it just is heartwarming to see it in him, too. I love all of your pics of him. Hopefully, your cats and the two stray outside cats will get along over time, too.
