Artie is still doing well and although he's still having a fuss at meds time he's taking them quite quickly. He's either starting to reliase that the less he moves his head around the sooner he'll get his treats or he secretly likes the medicine but doesn't want to ruin his tough man image by admitting it Here's a couple of pictures of him yesterday morning

Aww, Artie being a fierce, furry beastie! We all know he is a squishy softy inside even if he is acting all tough and cool, lol. I'm glad that the process of giving him his meds is going much smoother and easier now. Please give him a nice, long cuddle for being such a good, fluffy boy. I'm really, REALLY proud of him. I totally love his latest two pics; they really made me laugh. Great hairdo, although it makes me burst into laughter instead of tremble with fear, lol! I know that I can always count on your being such a huge comediham, Artie; I love you to pieces.

Artie's Gotcha Day
Artie celebrated his 2 year Gotcha Day on the 5th of January and as it was cypher's birthday too they had the wildest party ever However Artie's hoomans celebrated quietly with some chocolate cake

I'm not giving him his pain meds everyday now. He really wasn't happy about it and although he got a little better at taking them it wasn't enough to make me want to force it on him. Given that he is nearly 2 years and 3 months I want to ensure he's enjoying the time he has left. I more or less let him decide as he seems to have learned that walking in to the toilet roll tube = meds. I offer him the tube every day and if he walks in then he gets his meds and if not then I leave him be. Hopefully I'm doing right by him

I know I said it before but I have to say it again, looking as handsome as ever Artie

That sounds like a good way to deal with his meds, I'm sure he will understand the association & much as he dislikes them get the idea if he does need them.

Happy 2 year Gotcha Day Artie! You fell on your paws when you went home with BP and hamdad and joined the hamily. Glad you had wild celebrations but not the chocolate cake!
Sure that is the right way to approach his meds BP. It probably does enough to top things up a bit.
