Thank you SKB, Coco, Sasha and cypher I'm very proud of him, he's such a character and I'm sure his fierce attitude is keeping him going He seems to have decide he needs to get lots of sunflower seeds every day. Not to eat, just to shell and put in various places around his cage I'm not going to argue with his as I'm enjoying spending as much time as I can with him

Aww A Belated Happy birthday to The Frog Ham Artie, lol! at his frog birthday card. It made me giggle.

Aww, my three fluffies and I are wishing the charismatic, charming, and oh too cute Artie a belated Happy 2nd Birthday! He is still as handsome and fluffy as ever, and I'm so glad that he is managing to keep you giggling with all of his silliness and froggie vocals. He sure is one talented and creative little charmer. I love seeing his wonderful collage and the sweet pics with his froggie birthday card and chew toy. Artie always puts a huge grin on my face. My fluffies and I are sending tons of love to Artie and your hamily. I'm so glad that Artie listens to his mum's wise words and has decided to stay with you and hamdad much longer; hopefully, you will be able to enjoy many, many more wonderful times to come together.

I have also missed seeing you and your precious hamily tons on HC, but I can definitely understand not being able to be on the forum as much as you would like. I have also not been on much lately as my life has been extremely busy with numerous personal matters. I am sending you huge hugs, BP; my fluffies are sending whisker kisses, too.

Artie and the scare
Artie gave us quite a scare on Friday night and we really thought he was going of to the rainbow bridge. He was completely fine and then he started making squeaking sounds and he seemed a little agitated. When he didn't stop we decided to take his cage through to our bedroom so we could monitor him overnight. Eventually the squeaking stopped and he went to sleep. I heard him getting up during the night for a drink and a rummage in his food bowl and thankfully there was no more squeaking. In the morning he was his usual self, standing in his food bowl waiting for some sunflower seeds to shell.

Thinking back on it with my non-panicked head on I wondered if he'd maybe inhaled some sand when he was collecting his mealworm (I usually put a couple in his bath each night, not anymore though) or perhaps he had a bad case of the hiccups. I'm not sure but thankfully he was completely back to normal by morning

Phew, Artie, don't give your Mum and hamdad a scare like that. Good to see you in good form in the photos but especially giving that nibble pot a going over!

Oh my! What a scare that most have been! I remember having that same scare with my past ham, Comet. I couldn’t find him anywhere in his cage but he was hiding under his sandpit. What a cutie old man! I love the second t last photo of him!

I am sorry to hear that Artie gave you a fright - it so worrying when you think they might be leaving us but glad that he is ok and still with you. I especially love Artie's styled hair it really does suit him - plus great to see he also enjoys a nibble pot too.
