That's so nice of you to get a hamster for your daughter as a surprise present! I guess it's a good idea to keep them out of your bedroom for Christmas.
I've already found my main presents from my Mum and my Dad normally gives me his card and tells me to order what I want online, so no surprises for me  .

I am doing the same thing for my daughters---"their" (Im already obsessed) hammies are at my office at work LOL---I can not wait for them to see them on Christmas!!!!

It is so exciting! My daughter still keeps asking for a hamster and we keep telling her, no way. In the meantime, I have been having a lot of fun getting to know the little guy.

I set up a Christmas morning scavenger hunt that ended up at the hamster cage. She was so excited and they are already best buddies! I am very glad I got him early to get him all settled in. She says he is her best Christmas present ever! She renamed him Chewy.
