Thanks April I think Mushu will love it as Cypher and Lizzy said I think it's a fussy dwarf thing lol.

Feel free to steal the whole toilet roll idea, knowing Khaleesi and her love of destroying things with her steel jaws she'll probably destroy it in 30 seconds lol. The little bowls I got from a farm shop local to me. I think they were supposed to be Japanese dipping bowls but I have hamsters on the brain and only seen perfect sized hamster treat bowls ;D

Re: Boris & Pasha
Lol Jennie xD Boris ignored it for a good few days before he touched it. I think Boris liked it because it was in his ranch(playpen) so it was on a hard surface so it was easier for him to fight with it. Boris is odd though, he takes no interest in things in his cage but it's interesting when it's in the ranch!

Re: Boris & Pasha
Sorry I know I've only just posted in Boris and Pasha's thread but I came across this video of Boris from a while ago and as I've only just managed to put things on youtube I thought I'd share it.
I don't let him free roam anymore as he's too much of a menace and far too nosey for his own good. He was determined to get in to the room, why I don't know. Artie was in there at the time while he was on his quarantine but he doesn't like Artie much so I don't think he wanted to visit him! Later in the video you will see a cardboard box that had some nice treats in it from Rodipet but he was more interested in getting through the door! I love the bit at 38seconds where he stops and looks at the camera before running away and sitting on ham-dads slipper lol.

Re: Boris & Pasha
lol! He's such a little character, so determined I love that bit where he stops too & I always feel a bit mean but I can't help but laugh when I see their little feet sliding out from under them like that!

NEVER EVER again apologise for posting more videos (or photos for that matter)
He's so cute! And fast! It's like a little ball of fur rolling around. Cypher we all must be really mean because I think that their feet sliding out from under them is hilarious!!

Re: Boris & Pasha
I second that Hamsterita!
God, he's so quick and I laughed at his little feet sliding on the floor when he was trying to get under the door.
I love Boris!

Alas not. I tried him on the Easter egg last night. He took one nibble, before deciding it was not for him and pointedly turning his head away every time I offered a piece. I did, however, offer a tiny piece of REAL hard boiled egg which he wolfed down as though it was his last meal!

Re: Boris & Pasha
That video of Boris reminds me of every hamster I've ever owned. Whenever you put them in the floor, they instantly go to the doors or corners and have a nose around. Our old hamsters used to tear up the books on the lowest book shelf, so we made sure those weren't favourites!
