Re: Boris & Pasha
Hi Boris and Pasha!!
Don't moan about your mom taking photos! That way when time passes you can take a look at them and remember good times from the past! As you said, you also liked them So be good and pose well for the next ones!
I'm eager to see the birthday photos!

Re: Boris & Pasha
Boris & Pasha’s birthday part 2
I would like to say that I had a lovely day with my two big boys but the truth is I barely seen them all day and when I did they were grumpy. It seems like the mid-life crisis has started!
We had a little birthday party (yes how silly am I lol) for them last Saturday and my Parents and Brother came along for it. We had Mr Men paper plates etc. To me they are like little Mr Men especially now that they are 1. The boys didn’t get any of the nice cake we had but they did get a nice selection of their fav things and a monkey nut. My Parents seen Jaska for the first time, even though he’s been here since October and I see them every 3 weeks!
Thought I would share a pic of their Mr Men bunting and cards they got from everyone which we put above their cages.
Ham-Dad and I got Boris and Pasha one each of the living world wooden box with the sliding doors which I stuffed full of tasty things and wrapped a bit brown paper round it.
First up Pasha
This could be interesting
Why is this silly paper on it?!
Good they took the paper of, now let’s see..
Oh yum yum
Put you eye away Pasha, it’s only an Almond
And now Boris
Here he is demonstrating his enthusiasm(?!)
Enthusiastic pose No2
Enthusiastic pose No3
As usual with Boris if you don’t do it for him he won’t do it himself lol. Ham-Dad holds the box while I hold Boris.
Look at all those hemp seeds and he’s more interested in making a run for it lol.
Sorry for the long post and I clearly need to work on my cropping skills so the photos are the same size!

Re: Boris & Pasha
Of course you had a party, why wouldn't you
Love the Mr. Men bunting & all the cards!
Lovely to see Pasha enjoying his present so much, Boris just made me laugh out loud, he really is such a character with a mind of his own
Never apologise for a long post with all those adorable photos to share, it can never be too much
I don't see a problem with photos being different sizes either.

Re: Boris & Pasha
Aww I love that you had a party and the mr men bunting. It's not silly at all, it's so important to make a fuss our hams.
I loved seeing Pasha enjoy his present, he looked pleased but Boris's expressions and expecting you to do all the work so made me laugh, that sounds like Harvey!
As always, wonderful adorable pics and captions.

Re: Boris & Pasha
Looks like both Boris and Pasha had a very special 1st birthday. So sweet seeing their birthday banner and cards.
Loved the pictures of Boris and Pasha opening their present - it was very cute seeing Boris reaction to his present - it good that he discovered the treats with a little help. He looks like a busy boy. But also lovely to see how pleased Pasha was with his present - looked like he thoroughly enjoyed finding his treats that were hidden inside.

Re: Boris & Pasha
Awwww those photos are so so so so so so cute! I love your boys (understatement). And I don't think it's silly to have a birthday party for them at all. I've always had a celebration of some sort for my pets' birthdays.
I bet Boris could have opened the box himself if he'd wanted to. He was just training you to do things for him why do something yourself if someone else can do it for you? Really, he's the clever one here. He has you twisted round his tiny paw.

Re: Boris & Pasha
AWWWWWW I really enjoyed watching Boris and Pasha's photos!!
The garland with the cards is adorable!
I could google it, but I prefer to hear it from you (yes, I'm also lazy as ++++), could you tell me more about MR Men? what does it mean? I suppose that it's related with first birthdays.
Pasha was able to open the box by himself?? really??
I didn't know that they were snuggly, do they like cuddles? I ask because Boris looks very comfy in your hand

Re: Boris & Pasha
Thank you Cypher, Coco, Lizzy, SKB, AP and Hamsterita. I'm glad you enjoyed the pics
You're right AP, Boris could open the box himself I'm sure but he's quite a lazy boy when he wants to be and I suppose what better time to be lazy than on your birthday lol. He definitely does have me twisted round his tiny paw lol, they all do in fact They're spoilt rotten!
Hamsterita, the Mr Men are childrens books and there was cartoons also on the TV in the UK though I think the books were translated in to lots of different languages. There are all different Mr Men such as Mr Happy, Mr Tickle, Mr Bump, Mr Nosey, Mr Lazy to name a few. I don't think they are necessarily a 1st birthday thing, but I guess with Boris and Pasha being 40 in human years now that they are 1 it makes me think of them as little Mr Men Here's the cartoon for Mr Grumpy if you want to see what it was like lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KW3PsiEwlsc.
The lid moves quite easily so yeah he moved it with his nose and he's used his paw too to slide it open. He opens it every time he's in his playbox now expecting to find treats and his face looks so disappointed if there's nothing inside
Boris and Pasha are both snuggly. Boris is the most snuggly though. He's fallen asleep in my hand and he licks my hand and fingers all the time too. I had him out last night after I had eaten my dinner and he licked my lip (I think he wanted to see what I'd been eating lol). Pasha doesn't want cuddles every day but will let you know if he does want them by sitting on top of his cardboard log

Re: Boris & Pasha
Boris & Pasha's birthday..again (final installment)
Boris and Pasha here again. Mum promises that this is the last lot of birthday photos of us (phew! )
Thought we'd show you some pictures of the present we got from our Uncle and Aunt. It was a very nice present, it was a willow carrot.
First up is me Boris with my comments. It's good for chewing
And to climb on
Here's one of me eating it, tasty!
My turn, my turn now. Pasha here and this is what I have to say
It's very good for tunneling through
It's a magnicifent structure to gaze at
And it's smells really nice
all in all we'd give it 10/10!
Here's some bonus shots because we look so cute
An action shot of me, Boris, rolling around trying to get seeds out the tube. Don't you wish you had legs like mine?
The best way to eat breakfast is to sit on it!
Look at my cute Pasha face
Here I am trying out my new modern day fit-bit
