Re: Tinwë the brave!
Hahaha sounds like Tinwë is getting more adventurous these days which is good to hear. Nice he has two sand baths, mine do to. They have those corner toilet/sand baths but Pasha started to look a bit big for rolling in it properly so he got a sand pit as well :P Then everyone else followed suit!

Re: Tinwë the brave!
Lovely updates - Tinwë sounds so happy, confident and cuddly. Nice to hear that he really love sand and he is enjoying having two sand baths in his cage.

Re: Tinwë the brave!
Thanks everyone I still don't seem to have many photo opportunities with my little man but did grab one this morning, the bits of treat that are out of reach always taste best so he had a bit of a helping hand
I sometimes wonder if Tinwē is just lazy or a bit daft lol! The last couple of times they've had sugar snap peas (which is a rare treat) I've been surprised to find his still there in the morning, I always crack them a bit so they can really smell the nice tiny peas inside but no deal! So while he's sat in my hand having his seeds I hold out the sugar snap for him & he happily sits there eating every bit! Maybe he just likes to be waited on hand & foot
This probably the last of my hams threads where I should be posting this as Tinwë is still scared of chicken lol! But I had to share, Zooplus are out of stock of my usual cat chicken stick treats so I got a bag of mixed ones & these are just so cute!
Say it with chicken

Re: Tinwë the brave!
Awww lovely to see Tinwë again (I was going to say little Tinwë but he's not looking so little anymore, he looks almost Boris sized). He's very cute with his treat stick and kind of you to give him a helping hand to the best bit lol.
I had to laugh at the sugar snap peas lol, I think he just wants to be pampered. I think they think that if the magic hand is giving it to them then it must be good lol.
Those little hearts are so cute, shame he's scared of chicken. Can they eat the tuna and duck from the mixed pack? Nice to be able to give them plenty variety

Re: Tinwë the brave!
They do like to be pampered don't they & who can bear to say no
The tuna & duck are safe for them to eat, I haven't tried mine with the tuna yet but last time the chicken sticks were out of stock I got duck & they love them, kind of beats the objective of a low fat protein treat but oh well, they're happy
I can't remember how big Boris is now but Tinwë certainly isn't little anymore he's 63g... where did my baby go!

Re: Tinwë the brave!
That's good, I might get some next time my chicken runs out I never say what Boris or Pasha weigh incase everyone tells me they are fat lol. They don't look fat though they're longer and a nice hamstery chunky shape. Very different from the other 3. Boris is 73g, Pasha is more than that

Re: Tinwë the brave!
They are a good weight! I know what you mean, I'm a bit reluctant sometimes as people can have fixed ideas about what the right weight is but they all vary so much & it's shape & how they feel rather than grams that you need to go by really.
