Re: Tinwë the brave!
I am so pleased to hear there's been improvements and that Tinwe is still enjoying running in his wheel. He is definitely a "little star" and also a big fighter.

Re: Tinwë the brave!
Thank you SKB
I had him out on the floor yesterday evening & he's definitely walking much better & faster now, he looks almost normal on a hard surface so it's only on the substrate that he's still showing signs of struggling at all & even then not so much.
Fingers crossed he will make a complete recovery but even if he doesn't I'm sure he's happy & not feeling any real discomfort now & he's back to enjoying most of his favourite things.

Re: Tinwë the brave!
That really is a good improvement cypher. To know Tinwe has use of his back legs on a firm surface must be reassuring. When Mocho got wobbly on his legs, he found turning round on the fitch hard but I pushed and packed it down as much as I could to help him.
Tinwe, bless him, is doing so well.

Re: Tinwë the brave!
Thanks Coco & CMB, I have firmed the substrate down as much as I can Coco, it does help a bit & I've made a nice firm base in his nest with some lose fitch & lots of tissue on top so he can just crawl into a nice cosy space without any real effort.
Last night I put some of his veg on top of his house, I've been leaving it outside his door until now & it was all gone this morning which was really good to see.
He had been refusing sun flower seeds for a while which he normally goes mad for but I think he was having trouble with sitting up to hold things in his front paws but he seems to be managing that just fine too now & is happily taking them again.
He sat in my hand this morning & ate a bran flake then managed to get a peanut out of the shell while I held it for him

Re: Tinwë the brave!
A little more of an improvement now, I've been weighing him every few days to keep a close check on his weight & he would sit on the scales long enough for me to get a reading before slowly climbing off & walking away, last night he zoomed off much faster than he has been for a while, I had to scoop him & up & put him back on three times before I could get an accurate reading!
He's still not 100% but way better than I dared hope for even a week ago

Re: Tinwë the brave!
Yippee! I'm so happy for you and Tinwe, Cypher! I haven't been keeping you and your darling Tinwe in my thoughts and sending all the best wishes and hugs to you both. I am so thrilled that the Little Star warrior has been making such incredible progress and is getting better and better by the day. Running in the wheel and enjoying veggies and sunflower seeds is truly a great sign. I hope that you sweetheart continues to improve at this rate and will be all better soon. Please give Tinwe an extra cuddle from me, and know that I am sending you more hugs, too. I will be keeping my fingers crossed that the worst is finally over and now only good health and strength are in store for this cutiepie.
