I don't think it's wrong, if he's happy it's fine.
I never force tame mine & had half expected Zephyr to be like that but I just talk to them loads & gradually get there confidence, either that or they get sick of the sound of my voice & are trying to shut me up lol!

Although Screech is the longest one I have owned, she is the one I have started to understand her moods more. I have only just started to notice that she wants to come out when she comes to the front of the cage and stand with her front paws on the ledge of the door / window. She never used to do this before, but there was not really competition as in a syrian in the room. The syrian, Ginger is out more as she is awake and about way before any of the others. It is daylight and only 4:30pm and she is eating a monkey nut. I have just been through the treats and put treats in all the cages. Monkey nuts, sunflower seeds in shells, All-Bran, Harry Hamster stick treats (one of each colour, pink, yellow and green), peanuts and a small milk bonio in Gingers cage. The first thing Ginger done was grab the bonio and pull it into her little house. lol. None of the others have come out yet. All sleepy heads. lol

It does take a while to get to know what they want & when, mine all seem to have different routines most of the time, thankfully as when all three want attention at once it gets a bit overwhelming!
Mickle is often up during the day, I took those photos & vids around midday today, Zeph pops out ocassionally during the day but is always first up early evening, I rarely see Flynt except first thing in the morning when he climbs the bars waiting for a cuddle & breakfast!
I wonder is having Ginger in the room has made Screech a little jealous? It sounds a bit mad maybe but I have noticed now I have Mickle, the newest, Zephyr will start bar climbing if I spend too long with her as if to say "Hey you, come back over here!"

This is what I think. It is only since I have had Ginger that Screech comes to the window and looks over to me. She usually done that from her sand bath and then go to a corner to go toilet. Just lately, she comes to the window / door to be held and she does not move when I open the front and she will come onto my hand. It could be jealousy or it could be her being nosey and wanting to know what is happening in Gingers cage.
