Meet Matilda aka Tilly!
So much for going to the pet store to buy kitty food only, lol. I fell in love with this little hybrid female when I went to my favorite local pet store where I adopted my last three hams (all of their animals come from local breeders and they usually have very nice temperaments). I was in awe of how gorgeous she was and asked to see her. The employee gently got Tilly out and she just sat in my hand staring at me with those pretty eyes of hers I knew it was meant to be after that. She appears to be very Winter White type wise with a lovely roman profile, rounded body and short muzzle. I think it's very interesting to compare my Campbells girl Phoebe to Tilly and see the major differences in conformation between the two species. I have only had her a few days so she is settling in. But, in the mean time here are a couple of photos of Tilly. Thank you for letting me share!

Re: Meet Matilda aka Tilly!
Thank you all so much for your kind words about my newest addition Tilly. She is a spit fire like my other Dwarf hamster girl, lol. She likes to be pet and has been going crazy on her wheel. She will also climb into my hand and then starts to nibble on my finger tips, lol. Love this wild little ham!

Re: Meet Matilda aka Tilly!
Little Tilly has now been moved into a new bin cage and I started taming her in the bath tub yesterday. She enjoys being loved on more and nibbled finger tips only a few times when compared to her first taming session. Tilly is making wonderful progress and even managed to climb on top of my head that silly girl, lol. I am just smitten with her and am so glad that she has become a member of my furry family. Tilly has also decided that she has what it takes to be a crocodile hunter, lol.
Tilly busted with her chewy croc.
Tilly sizing up her opponent.
Tilly taking down the croc.

Re: Meet Matilda aka Tilly!
I have done this I went to pet shop for something. I already had sherbet, but went to look at the hams. And was so sad to see the other ham still there. So Kuffs came home with me, and I had to get another cage while there. I have never had such a gentle hamster, I miss her
Congrats on your gorgeous little one,
