Talking Whoopee! Wodent Wheel Success!

Soon after Toffee moved into his Criceti 15 cage, I bought him a Savic Jumbo Rolly wheel, but I've never seen him use it. Once or twice he got in and started to run, but then stopped and looked up at the spindle, as though he wasn't convinced that it was safe. The only other times I've seen him near the wheel, he was creeping under it and out the other side. I've been concerned that he hasn't been getting enough exercise.

This week, I finally decided to order a Wodent Wheel Senior and it arrived today - already assembled, to my great relief! It's very smart with black sides and a red strip, much more solid than the Savic.

I put it in Toffee's playpen this evening and he got in and sniffed around, then started to run! I've never seen him run in a wheel before, in all the time he's been here! After playtime, I put the wheel in his cage and then put Toffee back - he got straight in for a sniff and a few steps before going back to bed as usual. It was wonderful - I'm so glad I bought it.

Yes, the Senior fits in the Criceti 15 with room to spare, if you put it at the end opposite the platform. In Toffee's cage, it takes up just over two-thirds of one end, with enough room to put his sand bath in the corner.

kk thanks not sure if i'l get one though, its still a tenner i dont really need to spend, his comfort wheel works alright and it doesnt really keep me awake anymore, im used to it (much quieter than the rolly that came with the cage, he had that when he was small, it squeaked like mad!)

Where are the washers?! Are they the White plastic things on the outside of the wheel in the middle where the wire stand is?

yes the washers are the white plastic rings. There should be one on either side?
