The bases are identical, the difference in the width of the duna fun is because they measure the whole cage - the extra 8cm width is caused by the tube that comes around the outside. The bases can be swapped, the shelves can be swapped (handy if you have a basic mini duna, and a duna fun and want to put a syrian in the fun as the only way to fit an 8" wheel is removing one of the shelves).
Ahhh! Sneeky so n so's counting the tube as well - thanks for clearing that up IN!

the duna fun and mini duna are the exact same cage except for 2 things:

the wire bit that goes in the middle, and the second tier.

These 2 things can be removed, and without them, you have a mini duna. I had a duna fun and i found it to be not worth the money at all, in my opinion. the second tier seemed very unstable.

Thanks very much for the answers! I suspected Ferplast were being tricky with their width measurements and the tubes

Next question then - does anyone know if its poss to get the middle wiring section separately from the Duna Fun?

Thanks!
