A new house...
Hi,
I bought a new tank in preperation for finding a new hammie. I'd had my eye on it for a few weeks, but had only had a quick look really. Yesterday I realized that it's actually a Zoozone, which I was chuffed about 'cause I've read countless great reveiws for them. It's called a Habitat, I think. Depressingly it has a photo on the sheet it came with with a Guinie-pig and a rabbit sitting next to it... but never mind. I'd like to know how best to use it as a hammie house. It is smaller than what I kept my Kitty in, but that was actually two cages stuck together. So, I hope it's big enough? I am going to mesh the top 'cause the bar spacing is to wide, but what I'd like to know is, firstly, how do I get about hanging things up? I know a can hang things from the lid, but how about hanging things from different levels? I was thinking suckers? The ones with the hooks attached. Or maybe those reusable plastic hooks that you stick to painted walls. Somehow I'd like to put one or two shelves in too, to give more space for new hammie, but also for his/her feeding and water bowls etc. I want to keep the base fairly free of toys so I can fill it up nice with litter so he/she can dig about. I have had a look at all of your house set-ups and they're all very exciting-looking. But if anyone has any ideas they don't mind sharing, I'd love to know : )
