Default Bar Spacing On a Hamster Haven

Hi, is the bar spacing (9.5mm) on the hamster heaven too large for a winter white dwarf- I have a spare cage but i’ve only ever used it with a syrian hamster.

It should be ok. Just be careful to close the door on the second bar, otherwise it leaves a big gap which a dwarf hamster will easily escape through.

I think the Hamster Heaven is ideal for a dwarf. We have five and all occupied by dwarfs.

I take all the plastic tubes, shelves, penthouse out and then start off with a nice, spacious cage to create a more natural and hamster friendly set up.
