Default Dog, cat and nervous hamster

Can it be a problem to let a home with dogs and one cat adopt a nervous hamster, or should that not have anything to say?

I would want reassurances that the hamster would be kept in an area where the cat and dog didn't have access to it.

The hamster will move in to a detolf cage with laid lid. Or do you mean a seperat room?

The hamster needs to be in an entirely separate room with a secure door and absolutely no access under any circumstances from predatory pets such as dogs and cats.

That would be a very bad idea in this scenario. Again, it needs to be a secure room with no predatory animals like cats and dogs.

It is definitely possible to have dogs and/or cats while having hamsters but it has to be done with certain safety precautions including the secure room with no predatory animals(in this case cats and dogs but another example would be ferrets).

Barking can be stressful to hear, but in a secure room with lots of hiding places it's less of a problem.

I`m talking with the potensial new home as I write here. She says that the dog and cat have acess to all of the rooms as it is the way the animals gets used to each other.

For information: the hamster have bad experience with people and does react very to sounds.

She wrote this to me: Yes, hamsters hear sounds, are awake at night etc etc then they see both the dogs and the cats around here So then they get used to each other both with smells and sounds If I isolate her then it makes that hu just gets even more scared to dry not come forward
