UK hamster owners - any users of pennine large rat cage?

Oh my goodness ....... No wonder we have having bar bitting. Everything you have advised not to do; I am doing . She is a girl; and I have been completely cleaning the entire cage and removing all bedding once a week. Including removing at that time any uneaten food that has been hidden away by her.

I am struggling to source the Trixie wheel; but still trying. For now, the one it came with is in there, but she is not using again for obvious reasons. I am now wondering whether to try one of the those spinner ones that sit on the floor of the cage, as then haven't got the size issue ?

Yes, she has taken up home in the penthouse. I am about to install the litter thing the cage comes with; will see how she gets on with that.

I will leave cleaning the cage another week at least then (got the cage last Thursday). Thank you so much for your help
