Default Tame the hamster

Is it easier to tame a hamster in a barred cage then in a terrarium?

A lot depends on the hamster's personality but i think generally its easier to tame a hamster in a cage with a big front door because you can let the hamster walk out by themselves.

The terrarium and the cage have a big front doot, but is it easier with a barred cage as I can give her candy trough the bars?

I thought it could be easier in the plaza knock down then in the terrarium.

I guess by candy you mean treats like sunflower seeds etc. Yes, it can help to offer a hamster treats through the bars and the hamster can get used to your smell as well.

Terrarium. I thinking of buying a barred cage to her. The only options is the plaza knock down or hamster heaven.

Personally I wouldn't feed any animal through bars as it encourages snatching and if anyone does poke fingers and gets bit the animal couldnt be blamed.

I personally like a big front door and towering above in a tank can be daunting.

However, I think its best to remove the hamster from whatever cage and tame outside thheir environment on neutral ground. I have found more success that way than trying to tame in cage.

They can be totally different in the cage, nervous or terratorial
