Default Black spots on hemp bedding. Mold or burnt spots?

Hello, I recently bought hemp bedding. However, it seems that there are some black spots on some many of the pieces. I bought two 200liter packs and they both have the spots. When I asked a Hamster group on Facebook, someone said it could be burn marks from when they flash dry it. Has anyone had experience with spots like this on bedding, especially hemp? The black stuff washes off when I rinse it underwater. I haven't used it in my hamsters' enclosures because I wasn't sure what it is.

I would be worried it was mould.

I use hemp bedding and have never had this.

Is there a customer service number for the product you can call?

I use hemp bedding too and it has never looked like that.

I would be worried it was mould too.

It does look like mold to me. I haven't seen mold specifically on hemp though to be fair so I'd see if anyone else has experience enough with that to confirm.
