Re: Hamster cage for syrian hamster
The Alaska is reasonably priced and my Syrian likes it but its minimum size. It has large front and top doors which makes interacting with the hamster easy.

Rashy, i believe we have discussed this a few times on other threads of yours. So just wondering do you mean bought ones, or ideas to make?
Bought ones, there are : savic plaza, barney, eco habitat, paw huts, rodipet, niteangel, alaska, to name a few depending on availability and where you are in the world.

I have savic hamster heaven, but I think I will buy 100 cm Cage. I can buy: Ferplast duna maxi, Ferplast criceti 100, Savic hamster plaza..

Duna maxi or plaza best - depending on the hamster. Is it a he or she? Are they highly active or more laid back? So they get nervous at top entrances with a hand coming down? Aside from that the duna maxi is more manageable. I prefer barred cafes personally and front opening doors.

Its a girl. Do they need more space? She is nervous.

Re: Hamster cage for syrian hamster
In my experience girls tend to be bigger and a lot more active than boys.

Re: Hamster cage for syrian hamster
Savic plaza then . You can use the extra height to make a roof run with tunnels tied to the roof leading between shelves etc.
