Default Two of everything?

Hi, happy new year I got a mail from some people that bought a syrian hamster, but they need to give her a new home because she has some issues they dont know how to handle.

I have decided to take her in, and help her. She is so scared. I want to let her get used to me and her new home, and wonder if I should have two toilets for her, so when I take the first out I can already have the second one ready so she doesnt need to wait for a new toilet.

What do you think?

That would be completely up to you. While it isn't necessary, it could certainly make cleaning more convenient to have the spare!

Good idea. I've always had two identical houses for each of my Syrians and one of them has two identical en suite toilets so i can replace the one i want to clean with a fresh one.
I sometimes have to wash the inside walls of his house and it makes life so much easier to be able to replace the dirty house with a clean one which has his scent on it.

I've also taken in a hamster people couldn't handle because he bit and was aggressive.
There was nothing wrong with the hamster but the people didn't have a clue, treated him all wrong and scared him senseless.
He just needed time, patience and proper care.

I'm glad that you took this hamster in. She's on her way to a better life now.
