Default Ritz Hamster Cage

When I was looking for cages for Robos the other week I came across this hamster cage which I hadn't seen before nor heard anyone talk about and thought I would share it here:

https://www.littlepetwarehouse.co.uk...ml?sku=TK51416

Ritz.jpg

It is £69.99, 100cm x 54cm x 39cm, so is this the lowest barred hamster cage in this size? I couldn't think of one, so thought it might be a good one to add to the list of recommendations for dwarf hamsters.

It also has 8mm bar spaces

It has a door opening on the top and side, unfortunately they are only 15cm x 12cm.

I quite liked the look of the wooden platform, would probably replace the wheel etc.

It reminds me of the elmo xxl cage, 100 x 54 x 35cm high. 0.7 bar spacing and those same small doors on the side with a large openeing top door. Got it from amazon de.

Very similar Flower Fairy, the base looks totally the same with the same moulding pattern.

The Ritz is a few cm taller so could possibly fit a wooden cork lined syrian sized wheel.

I have seen that cage, I keep an eye on what they have there from time to time, it’s such a shame about the doors though, otherwise the height is almost perfect & the size is great.
Wish I could figure out how to hack doors!

Agree re the doors. Having the cage a bit lower down and just using the top door works well with the elmo.

Dont use the barney any more cos of those tiny doors.
