Are cocofiber/cocopeat/ecoearth safe for bedding??
Helloo!!! im planning toget a hamster but i realized sadly things like hardwood hamster shaving like aspen etc does not exist here and nowhere to befound. same with any paper bedding. (amazon doesnt really ship here) the only option i have is literally just risking my hamsterlife with a softwood bedding
but i could get cocopeat/cocofiber is it okay and safe to use them as the main substrate? if not can i use just shredded toilet paper as bedding?

As a main substrate those would be very poor choices as they hold humidity. You do not want that in a hamster substrate as it could lead to respiratory health problems, mold growth, etc. In very small amounts such as a shallow tray(in or out of the cage) coconut fiber can be suitable to dig in, providing it isn't too damp or too dry.
Shredding your own toilet paper sounds like your safest option. Just make sure whatever toilet paper you get would dissolve easily in water and isn't dyed or scented. Typically cheaper toilet paper ends up being the better option in terms of safety!

Can you share where you live, some horse bedding is suitable, maybe others have found suitable bedding in your home country
