Default Detolf Corner Sealant (Urine Protection)?

If you owned the Detolf or had a similar situation how did you handle hamsters that urinate in corners and any possible leaks between the glass in the Detolf? I read a few posts about using sealant, I just don't want her chewing it, but due to the bars in the Detolf that may deter her from getting into those corners with her teeth?

Or convincing your hamster to use a "potty"? I moved some soiled bedding into a sand bath along with some "poop" until I can buy a dedicated space. Not sure if that will do anything, but I'll research a bit more.

Have you tried putting a corner toilet in the corner?

Problem right now is that corner is the wheel side and I have to mount it to the wood for lid clearance (instead of on the stand) and can't face it the other way against the glass. I could mount on the other side, but then neither side could be the deep bedding side. Conundrum. lol
