Default To small cage

We have a dwarf who came to us last week. She lives in a cage there are 59cm long. The plan is that she will be moved to a savic hamster sky.
She is very nervous and do react at all sounds, even burps make she run
Can that be caused by to small cage?

Your dwarf's nervousness is much more likely to be due to the fact that she is still settling in to her new environment and getting used to it all - especially if she is a young hamster.

However, it's good that you plan to increase her living area.

I was told by her old owner, that she was tame but suddenly started to change behaviour.

Possibly but not necessarily. It also depends on how the cage is set up and how she was treated by her previous owners.
If a cage is bare and there's nowhere to hide or has only a thin layer of substrate so the hamster can't burrow then the hamster will feel exposed and get nervous because they are prey animals.

Once she's moved into her new cage with plenty of substrate and all the things a hamster needs to feel secure and comfortable then she'll start to relax and get more confident but it takes time.

I have currently a hamster like that, he's been here a week and i can already see him starting to feel a little more secure but i have a feeling that he's going to take a couple of months or more to feel comfortable with his surroundings and human friends.

Do you know why the old owner gave her away? Do you know what the old owner meant by tame? Were they able to handle her?
Most hamsters get upset when they find themselves un a new environment with strange sounds and smells.

I always have a suitable cage ready and set up before i take in a hamster because they usually arrive in a tiny and bare plastic cage. To have somewhere to burrow, hide and sleep helps them to settle in. It is also lovely to watch them display natural behaviours and do hamstery things they weren't able to do before. I always put something from their old cage in the new one so they have a familiar smell.
