Is the wheel on a shelf? Mine love to bury them but I put them on a shelf to keep them just above the substrate.
Some will just chew on anything they can get their teeth into, would putting some cardboard there help maybe?
If you can post a photo we might be able to help with some enrichment ideas to distract her & keep her busy.

You can buy ready made shelves but I find it easier to make my own to fit whatever space I need it for, just use a piece of ham safe wood cut to the size you want & wooden dowels glued on with non toxic glue for legs. I buy 10 or 15cm dowels from ebay but if you can saw straight which I can’t just get longer ones & cut to size.
You can also use a hamster house as a shelf if it’s big enough to fit the wheel on top.

Can you get the Ferplast sin guinea pig houses in Norway? I use them like a platform for wheels, sandbath etc and leave the front panel off in my Robo's tank. They're a good size and have a flat roof.
