Default Wooden house recommendations

Hi everyone
Around 2 weeks ago I introduced a shoebox house into Mabel's cage which can be seen in the attachment. She absolutely loves it, has collected bedding and made her bed/nest and stores food in one corner. However, she has chosen one corner as her pee corner and although I tried to get her to use a litter tray by placing the tray with some of the bedding she had peed on in the same corner, she has decided to store her food in there instead of pee in there! Also, she has peed up against the side of the cardboard shoebox and as I can't simply wipe that off or remove it, its starting to smell.

So could anyone please recommend a wooden house/hide out that is a similar size that I could plastikote and replace the shoebox with.

I use the Ferplast guinea pig sized houses which only cost around a tenner. My Syrian also uses his en suite as a food store but i placed a corner toilet filled with sand outside his house and he pees in there now. I left the en suite in place though.

That's a cute house. You could also try a jar on it's side or a sandbath, some hams use those to wee in. You could also put her house in a different corner to her desired wee corner.

I have this corner house for my hamster and rats (the two sizes) and seems to not smell (ratties dribble on it and still doesnt smell much, I wash it in bath every month or so and let it dry outside)

Feel free to ask me about rat advice too
