Default Building my own encloser

So me and the wife are toying around with building are mokie a bigger enclosure. So my question is would I be safe to use a wood for the base and sides. I wanna kinda possible build it into a all in one shelf unit kinda deal. But probably will be made out of a ply wood or possible particle board on 3 of the sides and base and the plexy glass on one.

If you use wood then it should really be kiln dried pine, plywood isn’t generally considered safe to use for hams. Any bare would needs to be treated with a non toxic paint or varnish to water proof it, we use Plastikote water based enamel but I’m not sure what you would have available.
