Default Dwarf chewing on the bars

Our little dwarf girls lives in a criceti 15, she do chew at the bars sometimes. Is it worth it to buy one more of the same cage and put them togheter with tubes or is the chance to big that she will do the same?

That cage should be big enough for a dwarf. Does she come out for playtime? Does her wheel and water bottle work ok?
I think its impossible to say what would happen if you'd join two cages together.
Has she always chewed the bars or is it sonething new?
You could post a photo of her set up here to see if there's anything that could give a clue.

When our hamster chewed the bars we bought a bigger cage for him thinking that would solve the problem, however it didn't. We noticed even when we got him out to play with at times he would run back to his cage and chew the bars from the outside. He has plenty room to run round, plenty fresh food and multiple water bottles. I get the feeling its like something he has to just do everyday for 10 mins then he stops completely.

It is true that hamsters can sometimes bar chew if a cage is a bit small for their needs however hamsters can bar chew for other reasons which could include frustration because something like a wheel or a water bottle isn't working properly, being able to smell something outside the cage, attention seeking and then there are others who do it just because they can and it has become a habit.

The first thing I'd do is check everything inside the cage works and is accessible and then go through a process of elimination other possible causes. Check your hamster's teeth and that they have something to gnaw on, check the area around the cage for possible things they might be interested in. If you can't find any obvious cause then it may just have become a habit.

There are some tips on managing bar chewers in this post: Managing Bar Chewers
