Presley524, I was considering Fitch too, but I could only see white bedding, no brown, so I have an order of the Small Pet Select paper bedding arriving sometime today. My boy has never burrowed but I think my substrate has been too shallow... It just arrived! Whoooo hooooo!
Yeah, I'm hoping this substrate is less labour intensive (because I spend hours separating Kaytee C&C bedding - I don't like clumps but I might have to just live with it). Anyway, regardless of how much work it requires I will be using a deeper level of substrate and if my boy burrows I'll let you know how well SPS paper bedding holds.

Would you mind posting a link to what you got? I found some aspen shavings and some brown paper bedding but all the reviews said they were really dusty. Is the one you got dusty as well?

Presley524, I am so happy with this purchase. It hurt my purse strings but I used about a third of the bag an had minimal dust, and I mean minimal! When I'm trying to shake out the dust of Kaytee I'm sneezing like crazy but with Small Pet Select Soft Paper Bedding no sneezing at all! Here's the link to the UK store (but it's an American brand so you'll just need to change the flag in the top right-hand corner); https://smallpetselect.co.uk/collect.../paper-bedding

I purchased the bundle of 178l paper bedding with the smallest box of Orchard hay thinking I'd layer the bedding like I've seen in photos of natural setups and the bedding sis so good I haven't used the hay! I will see how my boy gets on tonight and then see if I will layer it with hay or not... I wish I still had babbits to enjoy it because even the hay is excellent quality!

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely be considering getting this one.

I just started using Kaytee Clean and Cozy for my Syrian Hamster Buddy.
He seems to love it.
I bought the 85-litre bag and ordered a second one today.
I have the Rodipet LaOla Cage and want to fill it up a bit more so that he has 30cm for digging.
I am very pleased with Kaytee Clean and Cozy, it is so much nicer than Chipsi Super.

PetraR I went and ordered the same bag too as I remembered I had a £10 off amazon promotion code
I love how soft it is.

well that's a shame my 85 litre bag arrived and it is not soft at all like the last bag I got and it's more of an off white, almost dirty looking. If this had been my first bag I would have wondered why everyone liked it so much. Will try fitch next time.
