Post Petsathome Woodshaving Bale

Hi, new here

Does anyone know what is in the PetsAtHome Woodshavings Bale?

https://www.petsathome.com/shop/en/p...avings-p385--1

I have read their details and it does not state what the wood is.
Any help much appreciated.

Generally if it doesn't say kiln dried pine then it won't just be pine and may be mixed wood shavings. But as Souffle says, the shop should be able to inform you.

You can buy alternatives like Kaytee Clean and Cosy which a number of people use.

I've seen some very negative reviews with that where pets have actually gotten sick from the shavings, as well as at least one death. There have also been at least one review with someone finding plastic and metal in the shavings, which is obviously not safe no matter the wood species. With this in mind and the unknown wood species being used(which customer service may not reliably know) I would stay far away from these and stick to a reliable safe option!

I would definitely stay away from these shavings, it's a big risk if you use them. They are also very dusty!
