Default Greenery in a naturalistic cage

I was just wondering what kinda moss I could use for my naturalistic hamster cage. I have heard that it should be dried but all the dryed stuff is a dull colour. I see in pictures that there is bright green moss. Lots of people say sphagnum moss is the best but it's in long peices that can be dragged around and it's just a light brown when dryed.
Thanks

Hi and welcome to HC!

The snuggle moss from Rodipet is safe to use and made for rodents. It's dry and stays a mossy green. I use it in my hamsters cages and its also handy to fill gaps in bendy bridges.
I wouldn't use a moss from the reptile section because they are damp and meant to give out moisture.
