Default Re: Help with Wodent Wheel

The downside to attaching wodent wheels to cages is, as other people have said, they need taking apart for cleaning fairly regularly.
I wouldn't worry about them 'falling' on the hamsters, I have wodent wheels in about 30 of my cages and the hamsters often knock them over and incorporate them into their nests and I have never yet had one harm a hamster. They will fit on the bottom of a cambridge cage underneath the tall shelf.

Palourpuss the easiest way to get the clip off is to get a fork and push it through the loop then pull and the clip will slide on to the prong and not ping away! When you put it back on use a flat metal object to push it on. A thimble is good

yh we found that out to today with the clip
we used a pen to get it off but my mum hurt her fingers putting it on.
I'll use pliers or the flat metal object idea next time!
