Hi guys I have been looking on the web for ideas. What are your thoughts on these type of enclosures?

I have seen that cage before and my only worry was if my hamster chewed all the wood. also I would probably put plastikote over it because of possible urine soaking into the wood. But others seem to be ok with it looking at the reviews.

The only other issue, other than wood needing to be sealed, would be that the front door is at the bottom, which would rule out deep bedding. I imagine the door and the fixed panel above it could be swapped round by someone with some carpentry skills, so that the door is higher.

If you’re prepared to wait a while and drive for it, vivarium come up often pretty cheaply. I’d decide what range of sizes you’re prepared to take and wait !

Agree with Jadetooth, i've recently seen an exo terra 90x45x45 for £50 in good condition. Vivs and fish tanks in good sizes do come up on the free ads sites, often very reasonably priced.
